Orators.com organises artistic competition

THE general coordinator, orators-com, Mr. Olugbuo Dolin has said that the goal of the association is to showcase the talent of our youths.
Speaking during a competition on talented works by youths held at Daula Hotel, Kano, Dolin emphasised that the association resolved to ensure “career focus on improvement is its watch word”.
The occasion, graced by noble men from entertainment industry like Wale Man, chairman of P Man, Kano and Ardei, an AIT presenter, whom both joined as panel of judges.
Many youths exhibited their artistic talents like miming rapping, daily singing, modelling and R&B etc. which were contested as a group and at individual level.
Mr. Wale Man, in his remark, commended the artists for their good performance and urged them to work harder to enable them bring out the best in them.
“To be on top in any career requires an extra-ordinary effort in your training especially something like stage performance,” he said.
Awards were given to the following people who emerged as winners in various performances such as modelling – Slim T; R&B – Street boys; Miming – Young Mo; rapping – Flank B; dancing – FFB; singing – Dream girls.
Mr. Ardei, while presenting the award to the winners advised that some of them would have done better in different performance than the one they chose.
He also told them to trace their steps and know the areas they need improvement to excel.
Mr. Ardei made a solemn promise to give one of the contestant, Slim T. a gift worth N10,000 for her courage and being the only girl to contest in modelling not being discouraged by her height which is not above average.
